Padmabrahmāṇḍa (पद्मब्रह्माण्ड)

The term Padmabrahmāṇḍa translates to “the lotus universe.” Drawing from Madhubani’s cosmographic painting style, this series experiments with resolution, motif extraction, and pixel rearrangement to create concentric structures. The repetition of form mirrors the cyclical order that is central to Madhubani. Traditionally, the lotus symbolizes fertility, cosmic balance, and divine creation. Through these abstractions, the lotus becomes both the origin and organizational principle of the composition. It is an image of expansion and interconnectedness in a digital cosmos.
